Wednesday 22nd April-‍ ‍Creativity in Counselling

Creative approaches in therapy can open new pathways for expression, helping clients explore thoughts and feelings.

Looking for fresh ideas to bring into your therapy room?

Sometimes words alone aren’t enough. Creative approaches in therapy can open new pathways for expression, helping clients explore thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to articulate.

Join us for this interactive 2-hour CPD workshop exploring how creativity can be used to deepen therapeutic work and engage clients in new ways.

This workshop is designed to be experiential, practical and inspiring. You won’t just hear about creative approaches — you’ll experience them for yourself and leave with tools you can start using in your practice straight away.

Whether you work with children, young people or adults, creative interventions can help clients express themselves, reflect more deeply and access emotions beyond words.

During this workshop we will explore:

Using images and visual prompts in therapy
Working with metaphor and symbolism
Colour and emotion exploration
Simple mindful art techniques
Using objects and symbolic tools in sessions
Creative prompts to deepen therapeutic conversations
Understanding how different clients process experiences
